About

June Kosloff aka @jkosart was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Jamaica,
Queens. She went to the HS of Art and Design in NYC, and received her BALA from
SUNY Purchase in 1987. Additionally, she trained at the Arts Students League.
Kosloff has exhibited all over the US including a solo show in 2024 at Positive Space
Gallery in Tulsa, OK, group shows at Culture Lab in LIC, NY, The Factory in LIC, NY,
Solo show at Googly Eye Cru store 2024, Group shows 188 Allen NYC, Piragua Art
Space, NYC, Sweet Avenue, Sunnyside Queens, Murals in 2022 and 2024 as part of
Welling Court Mural Project in Astoria, NY, Free to Be” Group Pride show at Culture Lab
LIC , SOLO show at The Local Hostel in LIC Jan-April 2022
 
She has done residencies at Openings Collective in Lake George, 2025, Positive Space Gallery, Tulsa OK 2024, Castle Hill Art Center, Truro MA 2021 & 2020.

Independent Review Crew 2024

June occasionally curates shows in NYC as part of the LIC Arts Open and group shows
at different venues across NYC. Her side project is sewing and creating sustainable
fashion to share at art markets and running mixed media workshops. You can find some
of her work on the vacant storefront walls and the streets of NYC in Soho, the Lower
East Side, as well Seattle, Wa, and Wynwood Fl. Her work is in numerous private collections.
June lives in Manhattan and works in Long Island City, Queens.
